This home is available for either from September 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026. Sanibel life means shelling on private beaches, reading in a cozy book nook and watching the baby owls hatch in our owl box; Sanibel life is for relaxing, golfing, bird-watching, farmers markets, cycling or whatever brings you joy.
Tucked behind the lush island foliage, centrally-located on Sanibel Island, sits a lakefront community that's the perfect balance of convenience, private seclusion, and easy access to the beaches as well as J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge.
This home has an expanded floor plan with triple-impact windows throughout (which block any outside noises, creating a serene environment inside). The spacious master suite occupies the entire top floor offering a walk-in closet, "spa" master bath, sliding glass doors that lead to a private sundeck overlooking the lake and wildlife, all while enjoying the Sanibel sea air.
This Sanibel Island home has been recently remodeled; all appliances are brand new. It is stocked with plenty of games, puzzles and amenities that will create an incredible season for you and your family.
Extras provided: We also provide many extras not offered by other rentals. Binoculars to watch the birds, headlight flashlights for night-time shelling, linens, beach towels, TV, books, ironing board and iron, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, hair dryer. We are including unlimited use of our "island car" - a red Lexus, hard-top automatic convertible and bi-weekly cleaning services.

Rental Details
The Property
We are thrilled to be able to offer this centrally-located Sanibel Island home for rent for the 2025-2026 season. This vacation rental will be available from September 1st, 2025 - June 30, 2026 and can accommodate up to 8 guests. The rental comes with use of our "island car" - a red hardtop Lexus convertible, for your convenience. Bi-weekly professional cleaning services are included for your pleasure. Pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis. We will extend discounts commensurate with stay.
The home is centrally located to the Community House, the weekly farmer's market, the library and Sanibel's historic villlage, local restaurants and shopping. The beach is a 2-min car ride, 6 min bike ride or a 14 min walk away. The location is central to two island golf courses, a prime destination for fly fishing, kite boarding and all water-based activities.
The home is outtfitted with hurricane-grade windows and sliding doors, which also serves to provide a perfectly peaceful ambiance inside the residence. The home has a carport on the ground level that can accommodate 2 vehicles and an extra large, covered space for boat storage.
Amenities
The master suite has a King-sized bed, the second bedroom is outfitted with two double-beds and the third bedroom is furnished with a Queen-sized bed. We may be able to accommodate changes to bed arrangements if needed.
Puzzles, games and books are on site for guests’ enjoyment, as well as brand new: linens, bedding, bath towel sets, diningware, utensils and glassware.
The storage lockers in the garage contains a large, portable beach umbrella and beach chairs. Tennis rackets, pickleball raquets and balls upon request. Additionally, guests may avail themselves of shell scoops, as well as shelling poles and shell collection bags. Large mesh bags are provided for beach trips as well as new beach towels and blankets.
Guests will be able to use our Sanibel resident-only parking pass to access private beaches and will be provided a seasonal pass to enjoy the J.N. “Ding” Darling Nature preserve for the duration of the rental term.
